Wildberries has launched a dedicated platform in Armenia focused on responsible handling of personal data. Through privacy.wildberries.am, users can learn in a simple format how the company processes data in Armenia and which principles guide that work.
The website also includes tools that allow users to manage issues related to personal data processing. It provides contact options for reaching Wildberries with questions about the company’s data processing procedures.
According to the company, the information is structured so users can find the relevant section in just a few clicks. Wildberries says the content published on the platform complies with the requirements of the Republic of Armenia’s legislation on personal data protection.
The information is available in Armenian and Russian. David Mirzoyan, Wildberries regional director in Armenia, said the new site is meant to help users better navigate personal data processing issues and contact the company quickly when needed.
Wildberries added that it not only monitors and blocks malicious websites and apps, but also works to promote a culture of cyber awareness across all countries where it operates. Similar websites had previously been launched in Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, Russia and Uzbekistan.
