Earnings season will continue next week, with investors watching companies across the technology, financial, industrial and consumer sectors. Using data from Bespoke Investment Group, CNBC Pro screened for companies due to report next week that have beaten earnings-per-share estimates at least 80% of the time and whose shares have gained an average of at least 1.5% on earnings days.
The screen produced seven stocks, including RingCentral, Intuitive Surgical and Deckers Outdoor. Procter & Gamble and Union Pacific are also among the companies scheduled to report next week.
RingCentral posted the strongest historical record on the list. The cloud communications company has topped estimates 98% of the time, while its shares have gained an average of 4.2% on earnings days, the best showing among the screened names. RingCentral is due to report third-quarter results on Oct. 22 after the closing bell. The company recently entered a strategic partnership with Allnet.Italia, allowing the ICT firm’s channel-partner network to sell, implement and support advanced AI offerings in the Italian market.
Allnet.Italia CEO Emiliano Papadopoulos said the partnership with RingCentral completes the company’s portfolio with an AI-first cloud platform and gives resellers a way to build recurring revenue on a proven global platform backed by local support. RingCentral shares are up 160% this year, although analysts surveyed by LSEG mostly rate the stock hold, and consensus price targets imply a possible 27% decline from current levels.
Intuitive Surgical also made the list. The robotic surgery company has beaten earnings estimates 89% of the time and averaged a 2.4% gain on earnings days. It is expected to report on Oct. 20. Shares of Intuitive Surgical fell more than 1% on Tuesday along with other medical-device stocks after Johnson & Johnson reported weaker-than-expected MedTech sales. According to LSEG, 25 of 35 analysts rate the stock buy or strong buy, and consensus price targets suggest nearly 15% upside. Even so, the shares are down nearly 26% in 2026.
