VTB (Armenia) notes increase in demand for agricultural loans

Demand for agricultural loans is increasing

YEREVAN, June 26. /ARKA/. VTB (Armenia) reports an increase in demand for the 'Quick' credit product designed for clients engaged in agriculture. In the first half of 2026, the volume of loans issued under this product increased by 27% compared to the same period last year.

Loan funds can be used to replenish working and fixed assets, cover current expenses, and refinance existing agricultural loans with an additional limit of up to 30% of the refinanced loan amount.

Loan applications are processed based on the borrower's credit history without conducting a financial analysis, which significantly simplifies and speeds up the financing process. A decision on the loan is made within 2 hours after the complete set of documents is submitted, and funds are disbursed within 3 working days.

"We are observing a stable growth in interest in the 'Quick' product from representatives of the agricultural sector. For agricultural producers, the speed of decision-making and the availability of financing during active seasonal work are especially important. Therefore, we have simplified the application review process and reduced loan disbursement times. The increase in lending volumes confirms the demand for the product and the trust of clients in the bank," commented Evgeny Motovilov, Deputy General Director and Chairman of the Directorate of VTB (Armenia).

This product finances enterprises engaged in livestock, crop production, greenhouse farming, dried fruit production, agricultural product processing, and agricultural services.

The annual nominal interest rate for the 'Quick' loan is 14.2% (effective interest rate: from 20.2% to 22.78%). The loan amount ranges from 300,000 to 20 million drams, with a loan term of 2 to 5 years.

More information about the loan can be obtained on the official website of VTB (Armenia) or at any bank branch.
