YEREVAN, June 26. /ARKA/ At the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders of Unibank, the results of the Bank's activities for 2025 were summarized, and key directions for further development were defined, the bank's press service reported.
According to the results of 2025, Unibank's net profit amounted to 9.8 billion drams. The general meeting decided to allocate 9.3 billion drams for the payment of dividends to shareholders.
In the reporting year, it marked ten years since Unibank's IPO. During this period, the market value of the Bank's shares increased by approximately 70%, indicating sustainable business development, investor trust, and a consistent creation of long-term value for shareholders.
Unibank was the first in Armenia to successfully place perpetual bonds, completing their placement significantly ahead of schedule. High demand from investors reflects market confidence in the Bank's future development prospects.
The aspiration to become the bank of first choice for customers remains one of Unibank's key orientations. To achieve this, the Bank is consistently developing both its branch network and digital service channels, providing customers with convenient access to financial services regardless of the format of interaction with the Bank. Today, becoming a Unibank client can be done entirely online through biometric identification in the mobile application.
Artificial intelligence technologies are an important tool for further development, and Unibank intends to continue implementing solutions based on them to enhance business process efficiency. Unibank was one of the first not only in Armenia but also in the region to implement a scoring system for unsecured loans based on artificial intelligence, which allowed the Bank to take leading positions in the number of issued POS loans.
Support for small and medium-sized businesses remains one of the Bank's strategic directions. Unibank offers entrepreneurs comprehensive support at all stages of business development — from company registration and account opening to lending, leasing, acquiring, and modern digital services. This allows SMEs to receive a full range of financial services from one partner and focus on achieving their business goals.
To expand international cooperation, Unibank has partnered with several significant events, including BAFT Asia Bank to Bank in Singapore, the Yerevan Dialogue forum that gathered state leaders and private sector representatives in Yerevan, as well as the FINTECH360 conference dedicated to discussing current trends in the digital transformation of the financial industry.
At the end of 2025, the Bank was awarded the Visa “Strategic Partnership Award 2025” and the Mastercard “Excellence in Partnership Development” award.
The year 2026 will be a jubilee year for Unibank as it celebrates its 25th anniversary. Over a quarter of a century, Unibank has evolved from a new market participant to one of the most dynamically developing banks in Armenia, with assets reaching nearly 400 billion drams.
Moody's Ratings agency confirmed Unibank's long-term deposit ratings in both national and foreign currencies at B1 and maintained a stable outlook for them.
Alongside business development, Unibank continues to implement corporate social responsibility programs. The Bank focuses on projects in sports and education, as well as socially significant initiatives.
