YEREVAN, June 29. /ARKA/. Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin stated that he finds it hard to believe that Armenia will be able to find alternative markets in Europe for its goods that currently are almost entirely exported to Russia.
“As for the possibility of Armenia finding alternative markets for its products, which today are supplied to Russia in volumes approaching 100 percent, I can hardly imagine how this can be done,” he said in an interview with RTVI.
According to Galuzin, the autonomous trade measures being developed in Brussels for Armenian goods are “absolutely politicized and once again confirm the anti-Russian nature of the European Union.”
On June 19, it was reported that the European Commission allocated 34 million euros to Armenia to mitigate the effects of Russian trade restrictions on the country’s private sector.
