The Russian Fish Union stated that the import ban on fish from Armenia, imposed in June, will not lead to price increases for this product. Union representatives noted that the wide diversification of external sources of trout supply, the main product of Armenia's fish exports, will help maintain stable supply in the Russian market.
“Armenia's share in trout supplies to Russia in January-May this year was about 10%, which is 20% more than last year,” they added.

Representatives of the Russian Fish Union also added that Russian trout farms can also cover the demand.
