Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that Armenia does not intend to unilaterally revise the agreements regarding the concession of the railways, which are managed by the Russian Railways.
Pashinyan emphasized that Armenia will not change its approach, and the restoration work on the railway has already begun on the Gyumri-Akhurian and Yerevan sections. “We cannot watch as international routes pass through Armenia without bringing any benefit to our country,” he noted.
He also added that discussions with Russian partners are ongoing, and the railway must serve Armenia's interests.
