Armenia’s State Revenue Committee has published the remaining balance of the tariff quota for customs duty relief on electric motor vehicles as of October 8, 2026. The update covers vehicles classified under HS codes 8703 80 000 3 and 8703 80 000 5, which are eligible for a zero percent import customs duty rate.
According to the SRC, the remaining quota for dealer-distributor entities stands at 862 vehicles. That means 75% of the quota allocated to this category has already been used.
For entities that are not dealer-distributors, the remaining quota is 204 vehicles. Usage in this category has reached 99%, leaving only a very limited balance available.
The figures are important for market participants involved in EV imports, as they show how much of the zero-duty benefit is still available for different groups of importers.
