Yerevan, June 29. /ARKA/. To start the construction of the overpass in Noragavit in Yerevan in 2026, funding of up to 400 million drams will be required, said Aneta Babayan, director of the "Yerevan Urban Development PIU".
This project involves a transport hub that will connect the Artashat highway — the interstate road M2 "North-South" with the N-8 road and the 1st street of Noragavit.
According to her, the competitive procedures for the project have been completed, companies have been selected for technical supervision and construction work. One contract has already been signed, and the second is in the signing stage.
At a meeting at the mayor's office on Monday, Babayan noted that following the competitions, the total volume of investment costs for the project is estimated at about 1.3 billion drams. "As soon as the funding is allocated, construction work can begin," she said.
The Mayor of Yerevan, Tigran Avinyan, reported that the winners of the competitions for the construction of the overpass and technical supervision have already been determined, and work will begin after the allocation of funding and signing of agreements. ($1 - 368.12 drams).
