Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received a delegation led by the Vice President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Seyyed Hamid Pourmohammadi. This was reported by the press service of the government.

Nikol Pashinyan emphasized the importance of strengthening peace and stability in the region and expressed confidence that it would contribute to the consistent development of relations and cooperation throughout the region:
Seyyed Hamid Pourmohammadi conveyed warm greetings from the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, to Prime Minister Pashinyan and thanked him for the position of the Armenian government and humanitarian assistance in a difficult situation.
Subsequently, the interlocutors discussed the progress of the implementation of programs aimed at developing the Armenia-Iran border infrastructure. In particular, issues related to the construction of the second bridge and a new terminal, the consistent development of cooperation in the customs sector, and customs procedures were discussed.
Both sides emphasized the importance of developing cooperation in the energy sector.
They also touched upon joint projects in road construction, as well as further steps aimed at developing cooperation in agriculture, mining, infrastructure, and other sectors.
Opinions were exchanged on the processes of unblocking regional transport corridors and new opportunities.
