REPO/Reverse REPO Transactions
REPO/Reverse REPO Transactions
To attract and allocate short-term funds, Fast Bank conducts REPO/Reverse REPO transactions. Through these transactions, the Bank manages short-term liquidity.
The Bank enters into REPO/Reverse REPO transactions exclusively with licensed specialized companies registered by the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia (Banks, Investment Companies, Investment Funds, Credit Organizations, Insurance Companies). Transactions are concluded with government treasury bonds and bonds issued by the Central Bank, as well as other corporate bonds issued by commercial banks and listed on the Armenian Stock Exchange.
The main terms of the transaction are determined through bilateral negotiations and according to the procedures for conducting REPO and reverse REPO transactions of Fast Bank.
