Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated that Russia is ready to assist Azerbaijan and Armenia in unblocking transport and economic communications.
He made this statement at a press conference following negotiations with his Azerbaijani counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov in Moscow.
"Russia consistently supports the efforts of Azerbaijan and Armenia aimed at the full and comprehensive normalization of relations based on the complex of trilateral agreements reached at the highest level in 2020-2022," said the minister.
Lavrov also noted that the meeting addressed the issue of attempts by the collective West to use the South Caucasus as an arena for geopolitical confrontation.
