Bank Pekao FI Day & the 52nd BACEE International Banking Conference have opened in Warsaw, with Converse Bank taking part as the Lead Sponsor. The conference is being held on October 8-9 and has brought together international financial institutions, executives from leading banks in the region, and industry experts.
Converse Bank is represented at the event by Nelly Kocharyan, Head of the Department of Financial Institutions and International Banking Relations, and Lusine Balanyan, Head of Investor Relations. Both are also scheduled to join the conference’s expert discussions.
Nelly Kocharyan will take part in a panel discussion dedicated to BACEE’s 30th anniversary. Her remarks will focus on cooperation built on international professional platforms, particularly within BACEE, as well as the opportunities created by that cooperation and the potential for further development of partner relations.
Lusine Balanyan will speak on “Rethinking Where Sustainable Finance Sits in the Bank.” She is set to present Converse Bank’s experience in sustainable finance, including factors supporting the sector’s development, approaches to structuring financial products, and the importance of integrating sustainable finance across the bank’s operations.
The conference agenda focuses on trends in banking sector development, the importance of international cooperation, the specifics of sustainable and trade finance, risk management, digital transformation, and other current industry issues. Converse Bank is supervised by the Central Bank of Armenia.
