Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, accompanied by Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan, Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Zhanna Andreasyan, and Chairman of the Urban Development Committee Egizaryan Vardanyan, reviewed the progress of the reconstruction of the Kiev Bridge. This was reported by the press service of the RA government.
The project implementers stated that restoration of the roadway and pedestrian zones of the bridge, replacement of expansion joints and drainage systems, and installation of waterproofing are currently underway. Additionally, the bridge's span structures and supports are being restored. It was also noted that the bridge railings will be updated, and the external lighting lines will be laid underground.
A total of 456 million drams has been allocated from the community budget for the implementation of the project. The completion of the work on the bridge's roadway is scheduled for August 29.
