The economic ties between Armenia and Russia are being reassessed, and the possibilities for exporting Armenian agricultural products to the US market are also being discussed. Armenia's Ambassador to the US, Narek Mkrtchyan, met with Daniel Whitley, head of the Foreign Agricultural Service at the US Department of Agriculture.
During the meeting, the possibilities for expanding cooperation in the agricultural sector between Armenia and the United States were discussed. The procedures for market entry, existing regulations, and prerequisites for export promotion were considered.
Perspectives for establishing business ties between private companies of the two countries and developing mutually beneficial cooperation were also discussed.
