Armenian brandy production in Armenia totaled 9,566.1 thousand liters in January-August 2026, measured in pure alcohol terms. The figures were published by the Statistical Committee of Armenia.
Compared with 8,366.7 thousand liters in the same period of 2025, output increased by 14.3%. That means the sector posted growth over the first eight months of the year.
At the same time, full-year 2025 production in Armenia stood at 14,396.9 thousand liters in pure alcohol terms, down 27.4% from 2024. In 2024, output amounted to 19,818.5 thousand liters, which was 2.5% higher than in 2023.
Earlier, in 2023, Armenia produced 19,342.7 thousand liters of brandy, 16.98% less than in 2022. In 2022, production reached 23,298.4 thousand liters, though no year-on-year comparison was made because the unit used to calculate output volumes was changed.
Long-term data show that the sector has seen sharp fluctuations in recent years. Armenia produced 46,696.3 thousand liters of brandy in 2021, 39,191.0 thousand liters in 2020, and 43,505.7 thousand liters in 2019.
