Armenia produced 28,652.4 tonnes of meat in January-August 2026, according to data published by the Statistical Committee of Armenia.
Compared with the comparable period of 2025, meat production increased by 5.3%.
At the same time, other segments of the meat industry posted declines. Sausage production fell by 18.6% to 7,045.4 tonnes.
Output of meat semi-finished products also decreased, down 2.9% in the first eight months of the year to 1,798.0 tonnes.
The official data therefore point to higher primary meat production in Armenia during the reporting period, alongside lower output in some processed meat categories.
