New Prices for Water, Gas, and Electricity Meter Calibration to be Set in Armenia

Prices for Calibration of Public Utility Measuring Devices to be Set in Armenia

In Armenia, it is proposed to set prices for the calibration of water, natural gas, electricity meters, and other measuring devices in the public utility sector:

According to Armenpress, the draft order developed by the Ministry of Economy has been published on the Unified Portal for the Publication of Draft Legal Acts:

According to the project, the price for calibrating a water meter with a nominal diameter of up to 20 millimeters is set at 300 drams, while for meters with a diameter of 25 millimeters and above, it will be 2500 drams:

The calibration of a household gas meter will cost 500 drams. For larger capacity volumetric membrane gas meters, the calibration price will be 1000 or 1500 drams depending on the device's throughput:

The calibration price for rotary and turbine gas meters is set at 8000 drams, while for electronic flow meters, it will be 32,000 drams:

The price for calibrating a single-phase electricity meter is set at 400 drams, and for a three-phase meter, it will be 600 drams:

The calibration price for a thermal meter will be 12,000 drams, for a flow meter — 5000 drams, and for electromagnetic and ultrasonic flow meters and counters — 15,000 drams:

The calibration of current and voltage transformers will cost 2000 drams. A price of 25,000 drams is set for the calibration stations of water, gas, and electricity meters:
