Armenia’s foreign exchange interbank market recorded a decline in US dollar and Russian ruble transactions on October 5-9, according to Finport.am.
At the same time, euro-denominated deals resumed on the interbank market during the same period.
The shift reflects changes in the weekly structure of trading activity across the main foreign currencies.
Finport.am’s report indicates that the market showed two parallel trends over the period: weaker activity in the dollar and ruble segments and a recovery in euro transactions.
