The Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia, Mger Grigoryan, welcomed a delegation led by the Vice President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Seyed Hamid Pourmohammadi. During the meeting, the parties discussed current issues on the Armenian-Iranian bilateral agenda, as well as the progress of cooperation in the fields of transport, energy, and trade-economic relations.
They also addressed the modernization of the border crossing and the increase of its throughput capacity, which will directly contribute to the development of trade and economic cooperation.
Both sides emphasized the importance of the activities of the Intergovernmental Joint Commission and agreed to continue discussions on relevant issues within this framework.
