Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan announced that the majority of the municipality's additional revenues will be directed towards the implementation of road construction programs.
According to him, priority will be given to the construction of new road junctions and the renovation of existing roads.
“The main directions for spending additional revenues will be road construction works, particularly the construction of new road junctions and the renovation of roads,” Avinyan stated during a working meeting.
The mayor also mentioned that the municipality plans to review the efficiency of internal expenditures by involving external experts.
“I believe it is time to reflect and understand what optimization opportunities we have. Probably, we will outsource this service to have our internal processes analyzed from an external perspective, identify unnecessary large expenses, and redistribute them if necessary,” Avinyan noted.
