Dollar Transactions Increase While Ruble Transactions Decrease

Changes Occurred in the Currency Market

From June 22 to 26, the Armenian dram experienced significant changes. The volume of dollar transactions increased, while ruble transactions decreased.

Specifically, the volume of dollar transactions rose by 78.6%, while ruble transactions fell by 22.2%. This led to a predominance of dollar transactions, with a total volume of $32.5 million, compared to 1.364 billion rubles for ruble transactions.

The dram's exchange rate against the dollar weakened to 367.8 dram/$1, while it strengthened against the euro to 420.3 dram/1 euro.
