Dmitry Medvedev, the Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia, stated that the West treats Armenia as a tool in its struggle against Russia. He emphasized that breaking decades-long ties with Russia will have severe consequences for the citizens of Armenia.
“The West is primarily interested in clearing the political field of all forces advocating for healthy relations between Moscow and Yerevan,” the politician remarked.
He also expressed hope that the ruling party, ‘Civil Contract’, would heed the alternative opinions expressed by the majority of voters.
