On July 20, Armenian Ambassador Tigran Balayan visited the capital of Wallonia, Namur. He first met with the President of the Walloon Parliament, Willy Borsus. The meeting addressed the prospects for deepening bilateral cooperation with Wallonia, inter-parliamentary partnership, and the agenda for upcoming joint events.
Ambassador Balayan raised the issue of the representation of Armenian products in Wallonia, noting that this step could serve as a significant impetus for activating bilateral trade and economic ties as part of the Armenian government's strategy for export diversification.
During the visit, the ambassador also met with the mayor of Namur, Charlotte Bazelec, where they discussed potential cooperation in the fields of science, education, culture, and trade.
