Bank Pekao FI Day & 52nd BACEE International Banking Conference has opened in Warsaw, with Converse Bank serving as the event’s Lead Sponsor. Held on 8–9 October, the conference brings together representatives of international financial institutions, senior executives of leading regional banks and industry experts.
Converse Bank is represented by Nelli Kocharyan, Director of Financial Institutions and International Relations Department, and Lusine Balanyan, Head of the Investor Relations Division. Both are taking part in the conference programme as speakers.
Nelli Kocharyan will join a panel discussion marking BACEE’s 30th anniversary. She is set to speak about the experience of cooperation developed through international professional platforms, particularly within the BACEE network, the opportunities such cooperation creates and the scope for further strengthening and expanding partnership ties.
Lusine Balanyan will deliver a presentation titled “Rethinking Where Sustainable Finance Sits in the Bank.” Based on Converse Bank’s experience, she will address the factors behind the development of sustainable finance, approaches to designing financial products and the importance of embedding sustainable finance across the bank’s core business functions.
Conference discussions are focused on the main trends shaping the banking sector, the importance of international cooperation, key aspects of sustainable finance and trade finance, risk management and digital transformation. Converse Bank is supervised by the Central Bank of Armenia.
