Danish group Carlsberg has agreed to buy Armenia’s JI Pepsi Cola Bottler Armenia and Georgia’s Iberia Refreshments, Armenia Today reported.
According to the report, both companies operate in Pepsi production in Armenia and Georgia.
Following the transaction, Carlsberg plans to combine its South Caucasus markets. The move is intended to create a more integrated regional presence.
The report did not specify the financial terms of the deal or the expected closing date.
