Belgian Parliament Member Michel De Maegd confirmed his support for the fight for the release of Armenian prisoners of war. He met with Gaspar Karampetian, Armen Ishkhanian, and Siranush Sahakyan, where they discussed recent legal changes and steps to increase diplomatic pressure on Azerbaijan.
De Maegd assured that he will continue to fight for the release of Armenian prisoners of war and keep this issue on the agenda of the Belgian Federal Parliament.
According to estimates, the number of Armenian prisoners of war in Azerbaijan reaches several hundred, but only 19 have been officially confirmed.
