The Minister of Internal Affairs Arpine Sargsyan and the Minister of High-Tech Industry Mkhitar Hayrapetyan visited the Defense Industry Committee on July 3, where they discussed the possibilities of applying domestic technological and defense potentials within the Ministry of Internal Affairs system.
The Chairman of the Defense Industry Committee, Aram Jivanyan, presented the innovative achievements in the field, initiatives aimed at developing local companies, as well as leading technological solutions and high-tech products developed by Armenian engineering teams and research centers.
Possibilities for applying domestic products for the development of operational capabilities and technical modernization of the services under the Ministry of Internal Affairs, such as the Police and Rescue Service, were discussed.
The effective use of the potential of local producers and the expansion of the application of domestic high-tech products within the Ministry of Internal Affairs were emphasized.
At the end of the meeting, it was highlighted that effective cooperation between the public and private sectors is a crucial prerequisite for strengthening the country's security, developing the domestic defense industry, and enhancing technological self-sufficiency.
