Mandatory dust control measures will be implemented at construction sites in Armenia. This was announced by the Committee for Urban Development.
The Prime Minister stated that in January 2026, construction organizations were given sufficient time to acquire the necessary equipment and equip construction sites. The new regulation has been in effect for a month.
The Committee for Urban Development strongly urges all builders to adhere to the requirements of the new norms, organize construction responsibly, and participate in environmental protection.
In particular, emissions at construction sites must be monitored throughout the work period by implementing dust suppression measures and using air purification systems.
Construction sites must be equipped with air quality monitoring devices. Additionally, temporary roads should be covered with concrete or other solid surfaces.
Builders are also required to comply with the requirements for proper site equipment, regular cleaning, and use of dust protection barriers and nets.
