AraratBank Summarizes 2025

The annual meeting of AraratBank presents achievements and future plans

On June 24, 2026, the annual general meeting of shareholders of AraratBank took place. For AraratBank, 2025 was marked by strengthening its positions in the banking system, expanding services, and establishing important partnerships with major international partners.

“We noted that we have quite encouraging indicators and stable growth. Much more important is the vision for the coming years towards providing our customers with new, quality services. In this regard, I especially emphasize the development of AraratBank in the area of providing a wider range of digital services, and our customers can expect that in the near future AraratBank will present a number of new products,” said Vahagn Abrahamyan, Chairman of the Board and CEO of AraratBank.

According to the Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank of Armenia, Hovhannes Khachatryan, “It is noticeable that AraratBank is making additional efforts to further improve the Bank's management system, risk management system, and the application of information technologies. We are confident that AraratBank will continue to be an important and stable representative of the financial system of Armenia and will continue to provide its customers with quality services, mitigating risks as it has done over the past decades.”

According to the results of 2025, the Bank's assets amounted to 423.263 million AMD.

As of the end of 2025, the Bank's equity amounted to 78.734 million AMD, which is an increase of 8.903 million AMD or 12.7% compared to the end of the previous year.

In 2025, the Bank's total loan portfolio constituted 55.3% of total assets.

There was an increase in volumes across all types of loans provided by the Bank: loans to legal entities increased by 10.2% compared to the previous year, retail loans by 5.6%, and financial leasing volumes by 41%.

At the end of 2025, the Bank's liabilities amounted to 344.529 million AMD, while term deposits at the end of the reporting year amounted to 151.821 million AMD.

The Bank's net profit for 2025 amounted to 11.705 million AMD.

Speaking about AraratBank's new vision, CEO Vahagn Abrahamyan noted, “In the coming years, the Bank's activities will focus on several strategic directions, including ensuring sustainable financial results, continuous improvement of customer experience, digital transformation, further strengthening of risk management, compliance, cybersecurity, and operational resilience, as well as professional development of employees.” These priorities will define the direction of AraratBank's development towards becoming a more efficient, technological, and customer-centric bank.

“35 years of trust” was the title of the gala reception section of the annual meeting, attended by representatives of financial and business communities, international organizations, foundations, public organizations, high technology sectors, diplomatic corps, clients, and partners.

This year also marked the five-year anniversary of AraratBank's social responsibility programs. Over the past five years, the Bank has implemented numerous programs in the fields of education, healthcare, culture, environmental protection, social entrepreneurship, and community development, partnering with dozens of public organizations and foundations.

During the gala reception, a summary video of AraratBank's social responsibility programs for 2025 was also presented, showcasing the Bank's initiatives aimed at sustainable development of society and creating real impact.

AraratBank is regulated by the Central Bank of Armenia.
