YEREVAN, July 20. /ARKA/. On the third Sunday of July, workers in the mining and metallurgical industry celebrate their professional holiday - Miners' and Metallurgists' Day. On this occasion, ceremonial events were held in the city of Agarak at the Agarak Copper-Molybdenum Combine (AMMC), one of the leading industrial enterprises in the region.
Today, about 1100 employees work at the enterprise, whose professionalism, responsibility, and dedication are the foundation of the stable operation of the combine.
During the festive event, more than 50 employees were awarded honorary prizes and letters of gratitude for their many years of conscientious work and high professionalism. The General Director of AMMC congratulated the staff on their professional holiday, thanked them for their responsible attitude towards work and their contribution to the development of the enterprise, wishing them new successes, safe work, and further production achievements.
The event was also attended by the General Director of ZMМК, Chairman of the Board of Directors of AMMC Roman Khudoliy. He presented awards to the veterans of labor of the combine, expressed gratitude to the staff for their selfless work, and wished them further fruitful work, successful implementation of planned projects, and achievement of all set goals.
The Agarak Copper-Molybdenum Combine is a city-forming enterprise in the Meghri region and has been closely cooperating with local self-government bodies for many years, implementing social projects aimed at developing the community and improving the quality of life of its residents.
The head of the Meghri community, Khachatur Andreasyan, also congratulated the workers of the combine on their professional holiday. He noted the significant contribution of the enterprise to the socio-economic development of the region and presented municipal awards to the employees.
A special sign of recognition was the awarding of a commemorative silver medal named after Argishti I to the Chairman of the Board of Directors of AMMC Roman Khudoliy, and a bronze medal named after Alexander Spendiarov to the General Director of the Agarak Copper-Molybdenum Combine. The head of the community thanked the management of the enterprise for many years of fruitful cooperation, support of social initiatives, and contribution to the development of the Meghri region.
The festive event became another confirmation of respect for the work of metallurgists and recognition of their important role in the development of industry and the economy of the region.
