In the first half of 2026 (January-June), the 1000 largest taxpayers in Armenia paid nearly 1 trillion 111 billion drams in taxes and duties to the state budget. The list was published by the State Revenue Committee.
Compared to the same period last year, the amount of taxes paid increased by about 125 billion drams or 12.7%.
This time, the largest taxpayer in the country is the Zangezur Copper-Molybdenum Combine (ZCMC), which paid 41.7 billion drams in taxes in the first half of the year. Compared to the same period last year, ZCMC's taxes have doubled. The company operates the copper-molybdenum mine in Kajaran (Syunik region), which is currently the largest in Armenia.
There are many factors contributing to the growth of tax revenues, but it should be noted that last year ZCMC significantly reduced its payments, so this year's growth appears high in comparison.
In the first half of this year, the second largest taxpayer in the republic is Mobile Centre LLC (brand name: Mobile Centre), which has regularly topped the list for the past three years.
The company mainly deals with the import, sale, and re-export of phones and computers. From January to June, Mobile Centre paid 38.2 billion drams in taxes, which is 16% more than in the same months of the previous year.
Although it is not the leader this time, the company still ranks ahead of Grand Tobacco, Gazprom Armenia, as well as banks and companies in the gaming sector.
Specifically, Ardshinbank is the third largest taxpayer with 33.6 billion drams in taxes and a 20% increase, primarily due to corporate income tax.
Following the bank is Gazprom Armenia with 31.5 billion drams in taxes (an increase of 12%).
The top five is rounded out by Grand Tobacco LLC, which paid 28.9 billion drams in taxes, a decrease of 5% compared to the first half of last year.
In the banking system, Ameriabank also made it into the top ten largest taxpayers with 22.2 billion drams in taxes (an increase of 4%).
Major players in the gaming sector, which also engage in software development, are also in the top ten with high growth rates.
The first of these is Digitain LLC (TotoGaming) with 17.9 billion drams in taxes (an increase of 62%), followed by Soft Construct LLC (Vbet) with 17.5 billion drams (an increase of 76%).
Also in the top ten is the Kapan Mining and Processing Plant with 15.7 billion drams in taxes (an increase of 52%).
Rounding out the top ten is Wildberries, represented in Armenia by Imvbam. In the first half of the year, it paid 13.9 billion drams in taxes, which is 2.6 times more than in the same period last year.
This year, the company ranked 114th, paying 1.6 billion drams in taxes.
Other banks, tobacco importing and manufacturing companies, telecommunications operators, and others also made it into the top twenty largest taxpayers.
