The Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has officially been renamed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade.
The legislative amendment has entered into force.
“Today, the law amending the Law on the Structure and Activities of the Government entered into force, under which the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is renamed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade,” the statement said.
On August 27, the National Assembly adopted in the second and final reading a bill providing for corresponding amendments to the Law on the Structure and Composition of the Government. Under the changes, the names of two other ministries will also be changed in addition to the Foreign Ministry.
