In June 2026, the number of salary recipients in Georgia increased by 1.2% month-on-month and by 2.8% year-on-year, according to a labor market study conducted by the research center PMC Research.

Specifically, in June of the current year, 1,024,954 individuals received a monthly salary.

“In June 2026, the share of individuals earning between 0 and 600 lari was 10.8%, which is a decrease of 0.5 percentage points compared to May 2026 and a decrease of 1.5 percentage points compared to June 2025.

The share of individuals earning 2400 lari or more was 37.4%, which is an increase of 1.6 percentage points compared to May 2026 and an increase of 4.6 percentage points compared to June 2025.

The share of individuals earning 9600 lari or more was 3.3%, which is an increase of 0.2 percentage points compared to May 2026 and an increase of 0.5 percentage points compared to June 2025,” the study states.

Specifically, according to the research, in June of the current year, 111,000 individuals received a salary of less than 599 lari, while the number of individuals earning between 600 and 1199 lari was 181,000.

Additionally, 349,000 individuals in the country earned between 1200 and 2399 lari, while 383,000 individuals earned more than 2400 lari.

Regarding salaries of 9600 lari or more, according to PMCG data, 3823 individuals received such salaries in June.
