The Prime Minister's press service reports that Nikol Pashinyan visited the 'ELEVATE AI' artificial intelligence (AI) factory located in the village of Gagarin in the Gegharkunik region, which is the first AI factory in Armenia and the South Caucasus operating on NVIDIA Blackwell B300 technology.
“Nikol Pashinyan toured the factory, familiarizing himself with the technical capabilities of the data center, the current phase of expansion, and upcoming projects. It was noted that the investment program for the first phase amounts to $150 million, of which about $70 million has already been implemented. It was emphasized that the infrastructure is designed to support large-scale AI computations, ranging from AI model training to business, scientific, and engineering applications. The capacity of the first phase of the factory is 5 MW, which is planned to be increased to 40 MW in the next phase of expansion. Just one month after commissioning, the current capacity has been fully secured, reflecting the demand from both Armenia and international markets.
Thanks to the memorandum of understanding signed on August 8, 2025, between the Government of Armenia and the Government of the United States regarding innovative partnership in the field of artificial intelligence and semiconductors, permission has been granted for the export of Nvidia Blackwell B300 type graphics processors. On June 1, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the Ministry of High Technologies and 'ELEVATE AI' aimed at developing the AI ecosystem in Armenia, promoting innovation, building capacities, and supporting applied programs.
During the visit, the prospects for developing AI infrastructure in Armenia were also discussed,” the statement said.
