At the Armenian embassy in the USA, a meeting took place to discuss cooperation opportunities between Armenia and the United States Council for International Business (USCIB). Armenian Ambassador to the USA, Narek Mkrtchyan, met with USCIB's Senior Vice President for Global Initiatives, Kristen Kaufman, and Senior Director for Environmental and Sustainable Development, Agnes Winblad.
During the meeting, the participation of a USCIB business delegation in the 17th Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention on Biological Diversity (COP17), which will be held in Armenia in October, was also discussed.
Mkrtchyan presented the economic reforms being implemented by the Armenian government, steps to improve the investment climate, and emphasized the importance of deepening cooperation with international business circles.
