Ucom has joined the Armenia-UK Business Forum 2026 as an official partner. The event will take place in Yerevan on October 5-6 and will bring together representatives of the business, public administration, financial, education and technology sectors from Armenia and the United Kingdom.
The forum is designed to put business leaders, investors, policymakers and innovators on one platform to help create new commercial ties and build long-term partnerships. Discussions will focus on investment, infrastructure, education and human capital, artificial intelligence, as well as deep tech and emerging technologies.
According to the company, the exchange of international experience, ideas and networks is important for Armenia’s technological and economic development. Ucom says its expanding data transmission capacity, advanced connectivity infrastructure and growing range of digital solutions position it to serve as a technology partner for international growth and to support new opportunities across different markets.
“For Ucom, it is important to support platforms that bring together leading professionals from different sectors and create opportunities for new partnerships and ideas. We see international cooperation around technology, innovation and infrastructure as especially important, because these are among the key factors of a country’s long-term competitiveness today,” Ucom CEO Ralph Yirikian said.
Alexander Shaghikyan, Chairman of the Board of the Oxford Alumni Business Club of Armenia (OABCA), said the strength of such initiatives lies in bringing together different sectors and organizations. He said the involvement of partners such as Ucom helps create new business links and cooperation opportunities between Armenia and the United Kingdom.
The main program of the Armenia-UK Business Forum 2026 is scheduled for October 6 at Dvin Music Hall. Organizers say the event will host more than 800 invited participants, including more than 100 representatives from the United Kingdom, as well as more than 25 speakers. The forum is organized by the Oxford Alumni Business Club of Armenia.
