Minister Khudatyan highlighted the importance of the construction progress of the Kajaran–Agarak road section, as well as the commencement of the Kajaran tunnel construction, which was initiated during the visit of the IRI Vice President Seyyed Hamid Purmohammadi to Armenia in June:
