The Teghut copper-molybdenum mine in Armenia has come under the control of the American company Dynamic Frontier Holdings. This was reported by the Armenian service of Azatutyun, citing documents from the Electronic Register of Legal Entities.
Dynamic Frontier Holdings, registered in Texas, is the new shareholder of Kuprar RA LLC, which operates the Teghut mine.
The company is headed by financier and investor Konstantin Sokolov, who is registered in Florida.
This week, it was announced that the U.S. State Department appointed the 52-year-old Sokolov as the head of the TRIPP+ investment fund, which will finance projects along the trade route through the South Caucasus.
The Teghut mine is located in the Lori region and is considered the second largest in the country by reserves. According to geological surveys conducted in 1972, its reserves were estimated at 450 million tons of ore.
