In Tbilisi, a working meeting-discussion was held at the initiative of the Armenian embassy in Georgia, focusing on the possibilities of exporting food and agricultural products, natural mineral water, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as other food items from Armenia to Georgia.
The meeting was attended by heads of sales and import departments from nearly all major Georgian wholesale trading networks: Ori nabiji, Carrefour, Agrohub, Ambari, Armenia, Daily Group, Goodwill, Nikora, Smart Retail, Viva, Zgapari, as well as the executive director of the Georgian "Retail Trade Association" Sopio Kashakashvili.
In his opening remarks, Armenia's ambassador to Georgia, Ashot Smbatyan, noted that the main goal of the meeting is to create an effective professional platform for expanding cooperation, presenting existing opportunities, and establishing new business connections.
A slideshow presented proposals from Armenian export-manufacturing companies, a list of products ready for export, as well as data from Armenian logistics companies.
