Doctor of Economics, Professor Tatoul Manaseryan discussed issues in Armenian-Russian economic relations in an interview with Aravot.am, which have led to significant restrictions on exports from Armenia.
Manaseryan noted that Russia has suspended the operation of documents from two Armenian certification bodies for a period of 12 months starting from July 10, resulting in the suspension of exports of goods certified by the companies «ARMTEST» and «ARM-TEST».
«As a state, we must understand that maintaining relations with friendly countries is crucial for our progress,» he stated.
Manaseryan also emphasized that the stance of «pleasing the West» in relations with the West could be dangerous, noting that Turkey, as a NATO member, has significantly increased its trade with Russia.
