A conference on the topic of "Iranian-Armenian Strategic Partnership" is taking place in the city of Kapan, Syunik Province, Armenia, organized by the APRI research institute and the Iranian embassy in Armenia.
During the opening ceremony, the Iranian ambassador to Armenia, Khalil Shirgholami, and the governor of Syunik, Robert Ghukasian, discussed ecological changes and dynamic geopolitical events in the South Caucasus.
They emphasized the need to adapt the special relations between Iran and Armenia to new realities for the further development of the strategic partnership between the two countries.
Speakers also highlighted the strategic importance of the Syunik region for both Iran and Armenia and noted the importance of further expanding cooperation between the two countries to promote regional development and enhance its resilience.
