The X Seaside Startup Summit Armenia 2026 kicked off on July 26 on the shores of Lake Sevan, bringing together startups from various countries, investors, representatives of venture funds, and technology companies:
This event is being held for the second year with co-financing from the government, which allocated 200 million drams from the state budget for its organization:
During the opening ceremony, Armenia's Minister of High-Tech Industry, Mikitar Ayrapetyan, noted that the Seaside Startup Summit Armenia has become a unique platform uniting people driven by innovative ideas and forming a technological community:
"This is not just a summit, but an environment where new ideas are born, partnerships are formed, and technological solutions for the future are created," he emphasized:
The minister expressed confidence that new success stories will begin here, and participants will leave Armenia and the "Seaside Startup Summit Armenia 2026" not only with bright memories but also with new partnerships, knowledge, and big goals:

Compared to 2017, the number of technology companies has increased 18.5 times, reaching 12,026 (as of the end of 2025), while the number of employees has increased 2.6 times to 41,431, and the industry turnover has increased 3.2 times, amounting to about 1 trillion drams:
According to the Statistical Committee, the information and communication technology (ICT) sector in Armenia grew by 8.4% year-on-year in the first quarter of 2026 (compared to a 9% growth last year), generating revenue of 307 billion drams:
Only the IT sector's revenue amounted to 154 billion drams, exceeding the previous year's figure by 8%:
