Starting July 27, Russia will restrict dairy imports from Armenia. Rosselkhoznadzor has reported that inspections of Armenian dairy processing plants supplying products to Russia revealed several violations.
According to veterinary service data, the inspections found the use of milk from infected animals in the production of products exported to Russia. There were also instances of using raw materials from third countries to produce high-fat products, despite previous assurances from the Armenian veterinary service.
Rosselkhoznadzor has requested the Armenian food safety inspection to suspend veterinary certification for dairy products from all Armenian enterprises, effective July 27, 2026.
These restrictions also apply to fish and all types of quarantine products, including flowers.
