The Russian Rosselkhoznadzor has contacted the Armenian regulator requesting to suspend the veterinary certification of dairy products from all Armenian enterprises to Russian recipients starting from July 27, 2026:
YEREVAN, July 24. /ARKA/. Starting from July 27, 2026, Rosselkhoznadzor is imposing restrictions on the import of dairy products from Armenia into Russia.
"I instruct to ensure control over the prevention of dairy product imports from Armenia into the Russian Federation starting from 27.07.2026," the document states.
According to TASS, based on the results of inspections conducted from July 14 to 21, 2026, at dairy processing enterprises in the Republic of Armenia, Rosselkhoznadzor has approached the Armenian Food Safety Inspection Authority with a request to suspend the veterinary certification of dairy products from all Armenian enterprises to Russian recipients starting from July 27.
