The acting president of the National Assembly, Vice-Speaker Ruben Rubinyan, has signed a decision establishing security rules for the premises and area of the parliament.
According to the decision, the protection of the National Assembly's premises and building, as well as ensuring security, will continue to be carried out by the State Protection Service of the Republic of Armenia.
The head of the National Assembly's staff is tasked with notifying the vice-presidents of the National Assembly, parliamentary factions, chairs of permanent committees and their deputies, deputies, as well as the staff of the National Assembly and the Audit Chamber about the new rules in the prescribed manner.
At the same time, the relevant decision of the president of the National Assembly dated February 12, 2019, which regulated security issues in the parliament's premises and building until now, has been declared invalid.
