Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that he has invited Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan to the capital of Russia to discuss cooperation between the two countries and other specific issues in detail.
“I invited Prime Minister Pashinyan to Moscow so that we can sit down calmly with him and our specialists and discuss every question. There are specific issues. For example, the railway and its development. Investments in such infrastructure depend on traffic volumes. Are there traffic volumes? If there are, we will invest what we want. If there are no traffic volumes, there will be no investments, and there will be no development,” he said.
Earlier, it was reported that a meeting took place in Bishkek between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Russian President Vladimir Putin, during which several issues were discussed, including the process of Armenia's accession to the European Union and the question of the incompatibility of membership in the EAEU according to the Russian side.
