The National Assembly of Venezuela has approved the signing of an oil deal with the USA. This was announced by the president of the legislative body, Jorge Rodriguez. “During the extraordinary session, we discussed issues of vital importance to the country. We unanimously approved a partial reform of the law on the Supreme Court and supported the declaration for the signing of a bilateral energy agreement between the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and the United States of America,” he wrote on his Telegram channel.
For its part, Telesur reported that the Venezuelan parliament did not discuss the text of the agreement because the governments of both countries have not yet submitted official documents.
