The Armenian Food Safety Inspection Authority (FSIA) reports that recent inspections at four Armenian enterprises found no evidence of the use of milk from sick animals or imported raw materials.
The inspections were conducted in cooperation with the Russian Agricultural Supervision Authority (Rosselkhoznadzor), and the results indicated that the raw materials used in production passed laboratory tests and were deemed safe.
FSIA regularly conducts inspections to ensure compliance with legal requirements at all stages of food production.
If violations are found, the supervisory authority may suspend the operations of the respective enterprise until the violations are rectified.
