Yerevan: Mediamax: Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated today that "I am responsible for Armenia-Russia relations, I am not responsible for Armenian-Russian relations".
"Regarding the political component of these relations, I have said that Armenia has decided to have alternatives that it did not have before.
This is about not only economic but also political alternatives," Pashinyan said at a briefing after the government meeting.
According to him, Armenia has signed documents on strategic relations with several countries, "whereas it previously did not have and could not have such relations".
"I can say that Russia sees a problem in this. There is an approach that either relations should be exclusive or there should be no relations. We do not accept this approach. We say that relations should not be exclusive, but there should be relations," Pashinyan said.
